Here we offer a super nice aquarium as a living room table.
We had cold water fish in it, but it is also suitable for turtles. (And heater can be retrofitted)
The table is also very beautiful to decorate with colored sand or colored glass blocks, with and without water or plants.
The wooden part is made of beech and is below the water turned black and should possibly be sanded off. (Is not visible from the top or side)
